After 35 years in sales,  I retired as a sales manager in So. California and took up my hobbies of Scuba Diving, Fishing and wood-turning.  I’ve been a woodworker for over 50 years.  For most of that time I built furniture, wall units, tables, desks and similar items.  About 15 years ago I discovered the lathe and my world “turned”.

I have been regularly turning bowls , platters, pens, pepper grinders, and so forth as a hobby ever since.  About 10 years ago, I joined the TAV (TURN AROUND FOR VETS), a volunteer unit of the San Diego Wood turners Club.  This has given me the opportunity to teach veterans at the Naval Medical Center and the Aspire Veterans facility the skill of woodturning, a mutually rewarding activity.

In 2022, I was invited to join the “Art in Wood Studio”.  I am proud to be a contributing artist with this magnificent group.  Born in New York City, if you listen carefully, you occasionally pick up a bit of Bronx accent.
