I have worked with wood most of my life creating furniture, small boats and various items for use around the house. My work is created in a small workshop in the North Park area of San Diego.
Over the last several years I have dedicated myself to taking my woodcraft skills to a higher level. I completed the classes in the Cabinet and Furniture Technology Program at Palomar College in San Marcos, California, and graduated in the areas of Woodworking Skills Technology and Lathe Turning Technology.
While my furniture creations lean towards the Arts and Craft style, I love to experiment with various other styles.
I enjoy all aspects of Woodturning and am constantly discovering the beauty that can be found in producing an object from various woods. The majority of wood used in my turnings come from urban sources in San Diego, mainly through the San Diego Woodturners group.
I am a member of the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association, San Diego Woodturners, and the American Association of Woodturners.
