I am a resident of San Diego’s North County and have been involved in woodworking, in one form or another all my life.  That changed dramatically in 2000 when I discovered the lathe.  Everything I now do is dedicated solely to the lathe.

I have been turning wood for 16 years, and of those years, I have been turning professionally for the past 10 years.  Much of my inspiration comes from pottery, ceramics, glass and elements found in nature.  I enjoy experimenting and working with color.

I am a participating member of the San Diego Woodturners.

I have had the good fortune to be publicized in magazines with world-wide distribution, I am in galleries that cater to tourists from around the world.  I designed, developed and taught the woodturning courses at Palomar College- one of the top ten colleges in the country offering woodworking and cabinet technology for 7 years (2007-2015).

Previously, I have received awards in the Design In Wood Exhibit at the San Diego County Fair.
